Practice rooms at Badger Ivulets Piano are for adult players who already know how to use their minutes. You arrive, settle the bench, and work. We keep rooms free of children’s class clutter and marketing posters so the focus stays on the keyboard and the score.
Upright rooms suit technical loops, sight-reading, and accompaniment drills. The grand room is better when you need longer sustain, clearer pedalling feedback, or a dress-rehearsal feel before a performance. Both spaces are climate-checked and scheduled so instruments are not overworked in a single afternoon.
Booking is by hour or half-day block within studio hours, Monday to Saturday 10:00–20:00. Regular clients can hold a standing weekly slot subject to availability. If you also take lessons with us, we can align room time immediately after coaching so the same ideas stay warm under your hands.
What to expect on arrival
- Check-in at the letterhead desk near the entrance.
- Bench height and lighting already set to a neutral default—adjust freely.
- Water is available; food stays outside the rooms.
- Headphones are welcome for digital metronomes; amplified playback stays modest.
Rooms are not a public drop-in lounge. Guests of players may wait in the small front area, but the practice door stays closed once you begin.
